Collection: Foil Art

No two pieces catch the light the same way twice. Design By Nissa Foil Art is a one-of-a-kind collection of hand-drawn originals created in Nissa's Cleveland studio, where bold, swirling Visual Dopamine designs meet the luminous magic of reflective foil.

Each piece begins on shiny foil cardstock, where Nissa hand-draws intricate, colorful swirl designs using acrylic paint markers in 3 to 7 vibrant colors. Deliberate negative spaces are left throughout the design, allowing the reflective foil beneath to shine through, creating a living, light-catching surface that shifts and shimmers as you move around it.

The finished artwork is then matted and framed, with the design extended directly onto the frame using metallic acrylic paint that matches the foil, layered with the same bold marker designs. The result is a fully unified, gallery-ready piece where the art doesn't stop at the canvas, it takes over the entire frame.
