Keep the Shine Alive. My art and apparel are designed to bring joy for years to come. Because I use specialized materials like holographic foil, mirror acrylic, and direct-to-garment printing, they require just a little extra love to stay looking their best.
Original Mirror & Foil Art
Materials: Mirror Acrylic, Foil Cardstock, Foam or Cardboard Spacers, Acrylic Paint Markers, Gloss Varnish.
This is the most delicate work in the studio. The mirror surface is acrylic (not glass), which makes it lightweight but prone to scratching if cleaned incorrectly. The foil cardstock is sensitive to moisture and oils.
Do Not Unframe: Please do not disassemble the frame. The artwork inside is extremely delicate. The oils from your skin can damage the metallic foil and mirror finish instantly.
Cleaning & Dusting: Use a dry, clean microfiber cloth or a soft feather duster.
Smudges: If you must clean the mirror surface, use a specialized acrylic cleaner (like Novus 1) or a tiny amount of mild soap and water on a microfiber cloth.
NO Paper Towels: They are abrasive and will leave swirl marks on the acrylic.
NO Windex/Ammonia: harsh chemicals can fog or craze (crack) the acrylic mirror surface over time.
Placement: Avoid hanging these pieces in high-humidity areas (like a steamy bathroom) as moisture can warp the cardstock layers over time.
Keep out of direct, scorching sunlight to prevent the foil colors from fading.
Wearable Art (Apparel)
Materials: Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Printed Cotton & Poly-Blends.
To keep your dopamine décor looking fresh and the colors vibrant, DTG-printed garments need to be washed with a little extra care.
Washing: Always turn your hoodies and tees inside out before washing. Use cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and like colors.
Drying: Tumble dry on low heat, or hang dry for the longest life.
Ironing: If you must iron, do so inside-out on a low heat setting. Never iron directly over the printed design.
Avoid: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, and do not dry clean.
Home Décor (Throw Pillows)
Materials: Spun Polyester / Cotton Blends.
Spot Clean: For small stains, dab (don’t rub) with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Machine Wash (Covers Only): If your pillow has a removable cover, unzip it and wash it inside out with cold water and like colors.
Drying: Tumble dry on low or hang dry.
Inserts: Do not wash the pillow insert itself; spot clean only if necessary.
Tech Accessories (Phone Cases)
Materials: Polycarbonate (PC) and TPU lining.
Cleaning: To keep your case shiny, wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth or an alcohol wipe.
Avoid: Do not use harsh solvents like acetone (nail polish remover) or bleach, as these can strip the protective coating on the design.
