1. Our Hybrid Fulfillment Process

Design By Nissa operates as a hybrid art studio. This means our products are handled in two distinct ways:

  • Original Handcrafted Artwork: One-of-a-kind physical art pieces (such as textured mirror and foil work) are packaged and shipped directly from our studio in Cleveland, Ohio.

  • Made-to-Order Merchandise: Our apparel, festival gear, and home goods collections are entirely custom-printed, cut, and sewn specifically for you through our third-party print-on-demand partners. We do not hold a bulk, pre-made inventory.

2. Split Shipments

Because items ship from different locations, orders containing multiple product types may arrive in separate packages. For example, if you purchase an original textured mirror painting alongside a throw pillow, they will travel via different carriers and arrive at separate times. You will not be charged extra shipping fees for split packages.

3. Timeline Breakdown

Phase 1: Fulfillment & Production Time

Before an item can step onto a delivery truck, it must be prepared or manufactured.

  • Original Studio Art: Ready-to-ship physical artwork typically undergoes professional packing and handling within 3–5 business days.

  • Made-to-Order Merchandise: Standard production time for printing, cutting, and hand-sewing apparel and home decor takes 4–12 business days (depending on order volume, seasonal demand, and material availability).

Phase 2: Shipping & Transit Time

Once an item passes our quality check, it is securely handed over to the carrier. Transit windows depend entirely on your destination:

  • Standard United States Shipping: 3–6 business days via domestic carriers.

  • International Shipping: We currently only ship within the United States. International shipping is projected to open in 2027–2028.

Total Expected Delivery Window

Production time and transit time are entirely separate. From the exact moment you place your order, you can generally expect your custom items to land at your door within 7 to 18 business days.

4. Tracking Your Order

You will receive an automated confirmation email containing a carrier tracking link as soon as any part of your order leaves its fulfillment point. Please allow 48 hours from receiving that email for the carrier's digital tracking node to update and show an active shipping trajectory.

5. Custom Fees & Tariffs

Design By Nissa operates entirely within the USA. In the event of any regional delivery fees, local taxes, or unexpected domestic compliance fees applied by your municipality post-shipment, those costs remain the sole responsibility of the customer.
